In this Bhagavad Gita verse, Lord Sri Krishna explains the power of Maya. Individuals born under the Capricorn Rasi, influenced by the planet Saturn, tend to focus heavily on career and finance. The ruling Nakshatra aids in deep research and gaining knowledge. However, the influence of Maya can confuse their minds and lead them down the wrong paths. To progress in their careers, they must purify their minds and avoid being trapped by Maya. In financial management, due to the influence of Saturn, they may face debts and economic challenges. In health matters, they should focus on mental stress and physical well-being. By following the teachings of Lord Krishna, they can free themselves from the influence of Maya and attain true spiritual peace.

Lord Sri Krishna explains in this verse why certain people cannot come to Him. The misunderstanding known as Maya obscures their knowledge. As a result, they waste their lives in sinful activities. These individuals are deluded, ignorant, and have lost sight of their true spiritual purpose. They become enslaved by their desires and are affected by Maya. Consequently, their true divine nature is hidden.

This verse emphasizes the power of Maya in Vedanta philosophy. Maya is the divine play of the Lord, which distracts man from his goals and immerses him in false desires. As a result, a person cannot realize his true divine nature and becomes trapped in the clutches of the external environment throughout his life. Vedanta provides ways to transcend this Maya. To understand the truth, one must purify the mind. By realizing oneself, one can be liberated from the grips of Maya.

In our contemporary lives, this misunderstanding known as Maya surrounds us in many forms. Money, fame, social status, and technological allure are manifestations of Maya. Family welfare and financial flow provide the quality of life we desire. However, if we become trapped in Maya, we may not find peace of mind even after acquiring these things. If we neglect the two essential aspects of long life and health, we cannot enjoy our successes regardless of how much we achieve. Good dietary habits and parental responsibilities are the foundational pillars of our lives. Debt and EMI pressure lead to mental stress. Social media reflects our desires, but we must be cautious not to lose ourselves there. It is crucial to break free from the clutches of Maya. Only a liberated mind can attain true deep peace.
