In this Bhagavad Gita verse, Lord Krishna speaks about the Dharma and duties of a Kshatriya. Those born under the Sagittarius Rasi generally wish to follow higher Dharmas in their lives. The ruling Nakshatra, Mula, has deep spiritual roots, which makes them determined to achieve their life goals. The planet Mars signifies struggle and enthusiasm. Thus, those born under Sagittarius will act with enthusiasm in their careers and prioritize Dharma and values. They will also give importance to family, as family is their foundational strength. By emphasizing Dharma in their lives, they will achieve success in their professions and focus on family welfare. In this way, they can attain the higher purposes of their lives.

This verse is reminded by Lord Krishna to Arjuna. For a Kshatriya, fighting on the battlefield is his duty. He must engage in that duty with respect for what is called Dharma, or righteousness. It indicates that when donning the weapons to fight on the battlefield, one should act without any hesitation. This is considered a noble duty for a Kshatriya. Participating in a righteous war is an opportunity to uphold Dharma and the welfare of society. Therefore, a Kshatriya should not withdraw from his duty.

This verse explains the fundamental aspects of Dharma. Dharma holds great significance in human life. For a Kshatriya, protecting his Dharma while fighting in battle is his primary duty. Fighting in this manner is the highest purpose of life. This philosophy emphasizes that everyone should recognize and follow their own Dharmas in life. According to Vedanta, a person must fully fulfill their karmic duties. This ultimately brings peace and happiness to the soul. Similarly, by performing righteous actions without any hesitation, one can also benefit the world.

In today's world, everyone has various responsibilities in their lives. In families, parents should be good guides for their children. Likewise, in professional and financial matters, one should act justly. We should always strive to live with contentment and achieve the higher purposes of life. Good eating habits and maintaining health are essential. One should act prudently to manage financial pressures like debts and EMIs. When using social media, one should be cautious and moderate. Always strive for long-term thinking and enduring health, wealth, and longevity. This verse reminds us to take up righteous actions and remain steadfast. This brings the highest Dharma and happiness in life.
