In this Bhagavad Gita verse, Lord Krishna explains the ego of those with demonic nature and their mindset, which is intoxicated by wealth and fame. Individuals with Simha Rasi and Magha Nakshatra often desire pride and influence. The Sun further strengthens their personality. They will strive for success in business and finance, but at the same time, they must pay attention to family welfare. They need to realize that wealth alone is not the completeness of life. It is important to respect family relationships and act ethically. They must understand that to achieve success in business, not only money but also ethics are crucial. They should act with the understanding that true happiness lies in everyone living harmoniously in the family. This way, they can realize the true meaning of life. By eliminating ego and self-interest, living according to Dharma will benefit them.

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains what the demonic nature thinks. Their approach is centered only on pride, wealth, and fame. They believe that no one is equal to them when comparing themselves to others. In reality, they are immersed in false ego. They think that all their actions are for their own pleasure. Therefore, they are called ignorant. They cannot understand the true philosophy of life. Furthermore, they are deluded by illusion.

This verse illustrates human ego and demonic qualities. The notion of claiming anything in this world as one's own is erroneous. Ego makes a person ignorant. According to Vedanta, we are all part of the Supreme Soul. Therefore, we must learn that we are just a part like others. When the demonic nature is strong, it causes a person to become self-centered. This pushes them to look outward instead of inward for understanding. When one realizes the true goal of life, knowledge becomes clear.

In today's life, many strive for wealth, fame, and a comfortable lifestyle. However, this is not the entirety of life. The well-being of the family signifies that true happiness in life is living harmoniously together. To achieve success in business, not only money but also ethics are important. Healthy eating habits should be followed for a long life. Social media has become a part of life; however, it should be used correctly, avoiding comparisons with false happiness. One should reduce financial burdens like debts and EMIs. Parents should teach good inner qualities to their children. Long-term thinking helps in achieving the true meaning of life. Therefore, one should maintain balance in every aspect of life.
